MANUFACTURED TO EXACT SPECIFICATIONS. Patio Design WeatherGem offers premium cushions manufactured to its own specifications for both its 1300 PVC Krystal Cushion Collection and its 1900 Wickerglass™ Cushion Collection.
POLYSTER OVER FOAM PRODUCES A LUXURIOUSLY THICK CUSHION. Many manufacturers use foam or polyester fill, but not both. Single fill material results in thin, lumpy seating. But WeatherGem starts with a thick, high density foam core and then wraps bulky polyester over the foam. This triple layer combination protects the cushion and helps it hold its shape. It also results in a luxuriously thick and comfortable cushion that will keep your customers from “bottoming out” against the furniture frames.
OVERSIZED CUSHIONS MEAN COMFORT AND PRACTICALLITY. At WeatherGem we do not skimp on cushions. Indeed, we go overboard to specify cushions that are too big for the chairs. Our over-sized cushions must be wedged into the frames, which means when your customer leaves the chair, the cushion will not follow.
AN OUTSTANDING RANGE OF HIGH QUALITY CUSHIONS AND SLINGS. WeatherGem offers over 220 different magnificent fabrics for its cushion and sling furniture. The fabrics run the gamut from plain-colored and practical, to the whimsical, and then to the plush and sumptuous. All fabrics are carefully selected from the mills by experts. Their skills limit the risk that a fabric will not survive in harsh environments. Your customers will surely find many fabrics that are just “perfect” for them.
CUSHION NOTES. Fabrics are graded from “A” to “D” with “D” being the highest quality. About 50% of WeatherGem’s fabrics are the more practical “A”/”B” grades, while 50% are luxury grades. To sling a fabric it should be a Vinyl based “B” fabric. WeatherGem’s fabric types include:
“A” Fabrics are Open Weave Vinyl, Vinyl prints and Olefin. None are slingable.
“B” Fabrics include Vinyl Woven and a Vinyl Jacquard blend, of which 75% are slingable. Cane wicker is also slingable. Non-slingable “B” Fabrics include Polyester, Acrylic blends, Olefin and blends of Polyester, Olefin and Jacquard.
“C” Fabrics also include Polyester, Olefin and/or Jacquard blends. This blend of Jacquard is not slingable.
“D” Fabrics are generally Acrylic. Acrylic is not slingable.
